What is Special Olympics?
Special Olympics Indiana - Elkhart County Program is a wonderful place for individuals to participate in year round sports training & competition. It helps over 175 Athletes with intellectual disabilities develop fitness, build skills, learn & demonstrate courage, experience the joy of success & belonging, become involved in the community, build lasting friendships & improve self-esteem.

Sports Offered:
TRACK, March-June;
BOCCE, March-June;
SWIMMING, March-June;
SOFTBALL, and Corn Toss June-September.
BOWLING, September-December.
BASKETBALL- November- March
Athlete Eligibility
To be eligible to compete in Special Olympics, an individual must be 8 years of age or older AND have been identified by an agency or professional as having an intellectual disability OR closely related developmental disability. For those under age 8, the Unified Champion Schools program is available.
